Ingredients:

  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled up
  • 4 beaten eggs
  • 1/8 cup of bacon fat
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup non-fat dry milk powder
  • 2 cup flour, your choice (we used graham flour this time)
  • 2 cup wheat germ
  • 1/2 cup cornmeal

  • Preheat the oven to 350 and grease a baking sheet.
  • Combine all the ingredients in a large bowl with a heavy-duty mixing spoon.

  • Bake for 15 minutes, then turn off your oven and let the cookies dry overnight on the baking sheet inside.

While the ingredient list may be a bit longer than some of our other recipes, trust me, it’s really quite easy to make this bacon bits homemade dog treat. The hardest part is cooking the bacon!
