There are many varieties of portable dog baths and choosing the best one can be a daunting task. Here are some features to look for, and a few examples of the different types that are available. Hopefully, this list will help you decide on which portable dog bath is best for you and your dog!

Portability

You should decide what level of portability you need in a dog bath. Some are made from softer materials that will travel and compact more easily; others are moveable but not as easily transported, and still others need to be assembled/disassembled each time. You will need to pick which type will best suit your needs so that you can have the best experience possible with you portable dog bath.

Features

Some portable dog baths have features like sprayer nozzles, spa-like effects for your pet to enjoy, removable steps, and connectable drainage hoses. If any of these features will make the process of bathing your dog easier for you, consider buying a portable dog bath that has the features you desire. This will not only help you enjoy the process, but it will make the process that much easier for your pet as well.

Types of Portable Dog Baths

The first type I’d like to mention is a soft-sided portable dog bath. These are the most highly portable of the dog baths we’ve discovered. They are easily collapsible and can be set up in just a few minutes. They help keep the mess and your dog contained while you give them a bath. You can see that this variety can be inflated, is made from sturdy material, and comes with an attachable hose/sprayer!

Another type of portable dog bath is an elevated bath station. The elevated bath station can accommodate large steps for your pet to easily get up and down, the pet bath is taller so you can stand to bathe your pet, and has a drain hose so you can easily direct dirty water away from the area you are working in. These assemble quickly with just a few pieces but are less collapsible and will take up more space when travelling.

Finally, if you are looking for a simple and inexpensive option a foldable, water tight foldable pet bath / pool might be what you are looking for. These watertight pools and pet baths are great for containing the mess and keeping your dog in one area while you are bathing them. These are great for washing your pet outdoors or while traveling. The beautiful thing is that they are designed for pets and will not easily be destroyed by their nails! This type of portable pet bath doubles as a small pool for your pet to cool off on a hot day. Check out the many different sizes available so you can choose which one best suits your needs!
