Because they love unconditionally.
They don’t expect anything in return for the affection they give you. In addition to this, they will forgive you any mistakes at once and continue to show you how much they love you.
Unfortunately, human relationships often come with strings attached, and it seems that the “live happily ever after” exists only between book pages. Sad, right?
So, take your dog’s example and love with all your heart.
Give everything you could without expecting anything back. Maybe your heart will get broken, but you might also find someone worth loving.

They will be with you no matter what.

One of the most terrible human characters is that we hold grudges. I’m sure that you remember the person who bullied you in high school or the one who humiliated you in front of your boss.
Dogs are not like that.
They don’t hold a grudge against you when you can’t spend time with them or when you forget to take them for a walk.
They won’t be angry that you’ve played with another dog or that you’ve come home late.
It’s far easier to live your life when your grudges are not plaguing your mind. Just look at your dog, and you’ll realize that it’s a waste of time to stay angry or plot revenge.

As such, they are an excellent reminder that we also must have fun from time to time. After all, what’s the point of living if you’re only working?

At the end of the day, your dog won’t care if he has to sleep in a simple dog bed or an expensive one.
He is just happy to have a roof over his head and a soft place to lie. Material things don’t matter to Rover because he knows what’s the most valuable thing – you and your love.
