Got a stinky pooch? Whip up this simple DIY coat freshening spray for dogs! We all love our pets, but we don’t necessarily love how they smell. Most dogs only need a bath every few weeks, but in-between baths the dirty dog smell can set in. Save your nose, furniture, and rugs with this coat freshening spray. This spray is easy to make and gentle on your dog’s coat and skin.

Each ingredient in the spray has a purpose. The apple cider vinegar balances pH and kills harmful bacteria. Both rosemary and peppermint are known for their antimicrobial properties and their ability to deodorize. Aloe vera alleviates itch and irritation. Glycerin is often found in soap to combat dry skin.

Together you have a fantastic smelling spray that will freshen your dog’s coat between baths without irritating or drying out their skin. Check out the video tutorial, then print out the instruction card to make this later!
